【Abstract】 For the complexity of constructing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Service-oriented architecture (SOA) is introduced. The architecture is grounded on components of Web services, which not only realized the information integration in manufacturing execution systems but also glued the MES to ERP/MRPII and controls.
