【摘要】 一座城市的中心,不仅应具有商业功能,而且应具有包括图书馆文化在内的文化功能。因此,西方发达国家都把公共图书馆建于商业发达的市中心。在西方,图书馆先于商业中心而建,图书馆跟着商业中心走;在我国,图书馆后于城市而建,图书馆选址倾向于清静之地。我们错误选择的思想原因,是“重农轻商”及“学而优则仕”潜意识在作怪。我们应当学习欧美国家, 把公共图书馆建到商业发达的市中心去,让它为更多的人服务,让文化和商业结合起来,推动社会前进。更多还原

【Abstract】 The center of a city should have not only commercial functions, but also cultural functions which include library cultule. Therefore, public libraries are usually built in downtown commercial centers in Western developed countries. In China, libraries are built after a city is developed and their locations are chosen in areas far away from downtown areas.
