【Abstract】 The significance of Visual Instrument (VI) technology based on the LabVIEW platform is reviewed and the necessity of the VI in liquid level monitoring is pointed out. A set of liquid monitoring system based on LabVIEW6.1 software platform and ultrasonic transducer, data acquisition card and PC is developed.
