【Abstract】 Membrane bioreactor is a kind of technique used in wastewater treatment and reclamation which combines the highly efficient separation technique with biological degradation. It developed very rapidly in recent years and is feasible to be used in small-scale wastewater treatment and reclamation. However, membrane fouling is the main obstructive factor in its application in wastewater treatment. The application prospect and the research direction in future are probed into.
