基于协方差矩阵的空间平滑解相干算法
An improved spatial smoothing technique based on covariance matrix
【摘要】 空间平滑是相干信号DOA估计中的一种有效算法,但平滑不仅造成了阵列孔径的减小,而且不能灵活地调整子阵的长度,对于不同的子阵,均需要计算协方差矩阵然后求平均,运算量较大。通过分析协方差矩阵的结构,指出在协方差矩阵中包含了所有子阵协方差矩阵的信息,从而可以通过对协方差矩阵的处理,构成前后向子阵的协方差矩阵,避免了子阵协方差矩阵的运算,可以灵活地实现平滑算法。计算机仿真证明了该处理的有效性.
【Abstract】 When signals are coherent, spatial smoothing is an efficient DOA estimation algorithm. The use of spatial smoothing not only reduces the aperture of the antenna array, but also increases the amount of calculation due to needs of calculating the covariance of each subarray. This paper analyzes the structure of the covariance matrix, and comes to a conclusion that the array covariance includes all the smoothing information of subarray covariance. Thus smoothing of subarray can be replaced by smoothing of array covariance, which decreases the amount of calculation of smoothing. The computer simulation verifies the reduction of amount of calculation of this algorithm.
