【Abstract】 This paper, from the perspective of adaptation theory, has explored the enlightenment that adaptation of cultural context has brought to translation and revealed that adaptation of cultural contexts plays an essential role in the specific translation strategies such as literal translation, free translation and meaning compensation in translation. A translator must dynamically adapt to various cultural contexts, fill up the cultural default and evade from the barriers of transmitting the cultural information, then his or her translation can achieve the equivalent translation.更多还原
