【Abstract】 In the middle of North Song Dynasty, Ligou, a famous thinker, noticed the importance of talent issues. He believed that selecting the worthy and promoting the capable was of vital importance to the nation’ s prosperity, the society’ s stability and people’ s well - being. He further argued that the principle of both ability and integrity should be stuck to, that talent cultivation by education should be promoted, and that talent selecting by right methods should be encouraged. He also analyzed the social reasons why talents were not selected and placed on the right posts. Ligou’ s theory on talent is profound, with many positive and reasonable elements, but it also suffers from class limitations.更多还原
