一种快速的虹膜定位算法
A Fast Algorithm of Iris Location
【摘要】 虹膜定位是虹膜识别中的重要步骤。提高虹膜定位的速度、精度是有效地进行虹膜识别的重要前提。在现有的利用二值化方法分离瞳孔算法的基础上,基于眼睛的几何特性,提出一种虹膜定位算法,该算法首先通过寻找瞳孔所在的矩形区域来定位瞳孔的圆心、半径;然后根据瞳孔和虹膜近似同心的特性,利用圆形检测算子在小范围内搜索虹膜的外边沿,确定虹膜的圆心、半径。与传统虹膜定位算法相比,此算法易于实现,且减少了搜索的盲目性,可提高虹膜定位的速度。
【Abstract】 Iris localization is a crucial part in the process of iris recognition, improving iris location’s speed and accuracy are the prelude of effective iris localization. Based on the prevailing algorithms that separates iris by its binary image and the geometrical characteristic of eyes, a method for pupil location is proposed. This method locates the rectangle where pupil is in, and orientes the center and the radius of the pupil. The pupil and the iris are approximately concentric circles, it can search the outer boundary of the iris in less range with the circular template and oriente the center and the radius of the iris. By contrast with the usual methods of iris location, this algorithm is easy to realize, reduces the blindness of the search process, and improves the speed.
