【Abstract】 The establishment of the databank of Yunnan minority writings and documents has become possible when computers, communications, multi-media facilities, super-chips and the Internet are available. The digitized documents are the symbol of the level of digital technology of a given country or a region. Yunnan minority writings and documents are the crystallization of the wisdom of Yunnan minority nationalities and a treasure of Chinese culture as well as the unique cultural resources of the world.
