【Abstract】 Somatostatin released by growth hormone is an inhibiting factor and active nervous peptide,and it is mainly distributed in center nerve system,peripheral tissue and ocular tissue.As a nervous regulator and transmitter,somatostatin controls multiple physiologic function and involves in some pathologic procedure.Recently,somatostatin has been used for the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy,thyroid related ocular disease and cystoid macular edama in ophthalmology.Expressions of somatostatin and somatostatin receptor in ocular tissue and its relationship with neovascularization are summarized.更多还原
