【Abstract】 The origin and items of motorcycle emission regulations, the overall emission inventory of motorcycles in America and the relative contribution of motorcycles to overall emissions in Europe are introduced. The evolvement phase and process of motorcycle emission regulations are analyzed. The status of motorcycle emission control in different areas such as Europe, California of America and Chinese Taibei are compared.
