一种新的基于小波对比度的图像融合算法
New image fusion algorithm based on wavelet contrast
【摘要】 改进了局部小波对比度的定义。基于新的对比度的融合过程,选择系数时针对融合图像的视觉重要性,而不是孤立地在单幅源图像上计算的视觉重要性,因而对于融合图像更加有意义。图像融合过程采用了"选择"和"加权平均"混合的系数选择规则,在充分保留显著图像细节信息的前提下,进一步增强了算法的稳定性。仿真结果及客观分析表明,基于改进小波对比度的图像融合算法能具有明显的提高。
【Abstract】 The definition of the local wavelet contrast is altered. The new wavelet contrast definition is more meaningful to image fusion as the coefficient selection process is based on the fused image’s visual sensitivity but not that computed from the source images. The combined rule of "selection" and "weighted averaging" is employed, which both preserves the source images’ details and improves the algorithm’s stability. Simulation and objective analysis show that the modified image fusion algorithm performs better.
