甲醇中毒对视网膜损害的研究进展
Development of methanol-induced retinal toxicity
【摘要】 甲醇的中毒和损害在全世界范围内不断发生 ,其毒性的产生主要与其代谢产物甲酸的蓄积有关。甲酸盐抑制细胞色素氧化酶的活性 ,干扰了线粒体能量代谢 ,ATP合成减少 ,产生视网膜和视神经损害。我们从甲醇中毒所导致的视网膜组织形态学、视觉电生理、及MRI等改变介绍其研究进展 ,探求其可能的视觉保护机制。
【Abstract】 Individual methanol poisonings and mass intoxications continue to occur worldwide. Methanol toxicity is primarily attributable to the accumulation of formic acid,a metabolite of methanol. Formate has been recongnized to produce retinal and optic nerve toxicity by inhibiting the activity of cytochrome oxidase, disrupting mitochondrial energy production, reducing adenosine triphosphate(ATP) synthesis. Morphologic changes of retina, visual electrophysiology and magnetic resonance imaging characters were reviewed here to introduce the advancements in this field in order to explore the possible protective mechanisms for vision.
