非晶硅薄膜晶体管聚合物发光二极管———用于未来的平板电视
a-Si TFT-PLEDs——for Future Flat Televisions
【摘要】 近年来,PLED(聚合物发光二极管)和a-SiTFT(非晶硅薄膜晶体管)技术取得了巨大进展,两者的结合有望成为未来平板电视的主流。三星与杜邦公司已经研制成功14.1英寸的非晶硅薄膜晶体管聚合物发光二极管(a-SiT FTAM-PLED)全彩显示面板。本文介绍该a-SiTFT AM PLED的制作过程,讨论它独特的性能和成本优势,并分析未来平板电视的发展趋势。
【Abstract】 PLED(polymer light emitting diode) and a-Si TFT(amorphous Silicon thin film transistor) technology have made great progress in the past few years.Combination of two technologies is expected to be the mainstream of future flat televisions.Samsung and Dupont have successfully developed a 14.1" WXGA PLED display with a-Si TFT backplane.In this article,the fabrication of a-Si-TFT PLED is presented.The unique performance and cost advantages are discussed.Also,in this paper we analyze the foreground and trend of flat televisions in the future.
