A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) has been developed for the determination of nicarbazin inchicken tissues and feeds. Nicarbazin was extracted with acetonitrile and then the extracts were purified by liquid-liquidpartitioning and column chromatography. Nicarbazin was detected by ultraviolet absorbance at 340nm with reversed-phaseHPLC. The recoveries of nicarbazin added to muscle, liver and feeds were 80.9%-95.7%.
