【Abstract】 On the preservation and redevelopment of historical and cultural blocks facing decline in foreign cities, such issues as its background and trend, stakeholders’responses and intention, operating characters, and practice experiences etc., are generalized in this article, by taking the cases in Birmingham, Singapore and New York. Besides, the main controversial problems in that are also discussed. All these experiences will be very useful for reference for domestic historic city centers’preservation and renewal.更多还原
