【Abstract】 The Theory of Balance of Power is one of the important theories in the west theory of international relations. It has long history. And it got practice in the European history, esp. in the 17-19 century. Its influence continues to this day all along. However, this theory is disputed in history or at present. Some scholars praise it, and some debase it. The article objectively analyzes the effect and its limitation of Balance of Power and the Theory of Balance of Power in history. The article also discusses its effect in the constructing new world order and maintaining world peace under the background of globalization.更多还原
