基于表面细分技术的边界谱方法
A More Accurate Boundary Spectral Method Based on Subdivision Surface
【摘要】 把表面细分技术与边界谱方法相结合,提出了一种基于表面细分技术的子波边界谱方法。它能精确描述复杂图形边界,提高处理复杂边界问题的能力和计算精度,把表面细分技术建立的几何模型直接用于边界谱方法的求解。数值算例表明,该方法是有效的。
【Abstract】 Traditional description of boundary conditions,in our opinion,is not satisfactory and leads to calculated results that are not as accurate as possible.We aim to improve the description of boundary conditions through proper application of the now already quite mature subdivision surface technique.A new wavelet approach based on the subdivision surface technique,a new method in Computer Graphics,is presented for solving two-dimensional and axisymmetric problems with Dirichlet,Neumann and mixed boundary conditions.For solving acoustic problems,we prefer expanding the boundary unknowns in terms of periodic and orthogonal wavelet basis functions as compared with other well known approaches;but more importantly,we describe the boundary geometry with subdivision surface.The advantages of the new approach are:(1) we can reach c~n continuity in depicting boundary geometry models;(2) the CAD models can be directly used in our boundary spectral method with no changes whatsoever needed.Thus the solution is more accurate.The results from the new approach are compared with the conventional spectral method and the analytical solutions;the comparison demonstrates that the new technique has fast convergence and good accuracy.
