【Abstract】 Speakers use language in subtle ways to define their relationships to each other,to identify themselves as part of a social group,to establish the kind of speech event they are in.This function of language is clearly highlighted in address forms.This paper tries to illustrate with examples that address forms reflect the social relations between the speaker and the addressee,most particularly the power and solidarity manifested in that relationship.更多还原
