【摘要】 本文旨在通过对《苔丝》三个中译本中人物描绘的译例进行个案分析 ,探讨将文学接受理论运用于文学翻译批评的合理性与局限性。认为 :文学接受理论为翻译批评提供了一个更为开放的视角 ,值得重视和借鉴。然而 ,如果全盘接受文学接受理论的观点 ,把文学翻译仅仅看作一种译者主体行为 ,势必会导致唯心主义而陷入理论的谬误 ,最终使文学翻译批评丧失应有的科学性、权威性和导向性。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper, by making an appreciative analysis of an example of character description taken from three Chinese translations of Tess of the D’Urbervilles, discusses the rationalization and limitation of applying theory of literary reception to literary translation criticism. The author holds that the theory of literary reception provides us with a more open perspective in translation criticism, but that if we follow this theory completely and regard literary translation as the translator’s subjective action, we’ll inevitably lead to idealism and theoretical errors, and furthermore, deprive literary translation criticism of its scientific, authoritative and directive nature.更多还原
