一个改进的MPEG-4码率控制方案
An Improved MPEG-4 Rate Control Scheme
【摘要】 通过分析MPEG-4Q2中目标比特分配算法的缺陷,根据拉格朗日乘子法,提出了一种保持图像质量一致性的比特分配模型。用新模型替换MPEG-4Q2中原始的目标比特分配算法,设计出一个改进的MPEG-4Q2码率控制方案。实验仿真结果表明:改进的M PEG-4Q2方案不但生成了更加平稳的图象质量,而且大大提高了目标比特的估计精度。
【Abstract】 MEG-4 Q2 rate-control scheme is analyzed and its deficiency is presented. Based on Lagrange multiplier method, a bit-allocation model is proposed to keep the consistent picture quality between consecutive frames. The proposed bit-allocation model is applied to improve MPEG-4 Q2 rate-control method. Simulation results show that the improved MPEG-4 Q2 method not only produces a consistent picture quality, but achieves higher precision of estimating the target rate.
