【Abstract】 With the fast development of multimedia and Internet technology, more and more requirements on image coding are proposed. Some characteristics of wavelet transform are greatly accorded with the requirement of image processing, which has caught much attention to wavelet image coding. In this paper, some classical algorithms of wavelet image coding are studied to link with the characteristic of wavelet transform and the future development of image coding is also analyzed and conjectured.更多还原
