【Abstract】 The principle and main functions of intelligent home system based on the infrared communication are introduced in this paper. We adopt single chip to control the telephone full duplex communication chip MT8880 and the Infrared encode/decode chip MCP2120, which has lower cost, more agile framework and better expansibility. A serial of functions by the public telephone network are also described in this intelligent system, such as remote control, sound prompting, leave words and automatic alarm. By using the infrared communications, the system avoids electromagnetic interference and possesses high communication speed.更多还原
