【Abstract】 Public participation in urban management is the demand of democracy, the effective supervision of social fairness and the guarantee of the healthy development for a city. With the review of the history evolution of public participation, the connotation and effects of public participation and urban management are analyzed. Incorporating the practice of public participation with urban management in China, existing problems are pointed out. Through the research of public participation in environmental impact statement of USA, countermeasures to strengthen public participation and urban management are presented.更多还原
