【Abstract】 Component repository is always one of the key themes of component-based software engineering. According to the requirement of managing software component, this paper proposes a solution for managing software component based on the standard of ebXML Registry&Repository, which is accomplished by extending the Registry Information Model of OASIS ebXML. This paper also gives the framework of software component registry in the repository. The solution complies with OASIS specification of ebXML RIM and ebXML Registry Services, and can be widely used and easily popularized.
