【Abstract】 The thesis starts with the internal logic of John Dewey’s pragmatism existence philosophy,and probes into the theoretical origin of existence philosophy,empirical method and the logic of inquiry based on "learning by doing".The author considers that John Dewey’s pragmatism existence philosophy is not a theory of education,but a theory of learning by inquiry.
