【Abstract】 Changes of gymnastic rules,reform of competition system and fast development of gymnastic sport have brought impacts on selection of the young gymnastic athletes. Countermeasures of scientific selection of the young gymnastic athletes were put forward according to the characteristics of the gymnastic athletes selection and its development requirement. Coaches of gymnastics need to set good work style and scientific ideas,and pay attention to the innovation of selecting the talents.
