【Abstract】 The problem and a unified framework, MonitorView, was studied and proposed on how to manage heterogeneous telecom business & operations support systems (BOSS) effectively. Based on a kind of application-oriented Manager-Agent management protocol, MonitorView extracted a common BOSS management functions set and embodied it in a general management Agent. To bridge the Manager-Agent communications, a simple message middleware, SRB was designed and implemented that supported the unified management Meta-Message framework studied in the paper. Finally, MonitorView separated system management from heterogeneous BOSS and made it an independent and reconfigurable application.更多还原
