【Abstract】 The current main approaches of implementing interoperability in digital libraries include federation、gathering and harvesting. Among them, the harvesting based on OAI-PMH is the most hopeful approach. This paper introduces the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting. Then a survey of the current application of OAI in digital library projects is presented. At last, a model of personal digital library based on OAI is discussed, which is a personalized information environment for sharing personal information resources.更多还原
