An index evaluating system on seats allotment of passenger trains based on AHP was brought forward through analyzing the index on seats allotment of passenger trains at present, which contained passenger transport capacity, efficiency of passenger transport, economic benefit and orients subadminnistration. Them it was given a detailed description of its frameworks, meanings and calculational methods of each index.
