卵泡发育与端粒酶表达及调控

【摘要】 端粒酶是一种核糖核蛋白,具有合成端粒的功能。细胞的年龄和寿命与端粒酶的活性和端粒的长度密切相关。卵巢是一个以周期性的细胞增殖分化和凋亡为特征的器官,在正常的卵巢中端粒酶的表达随卵泡发育的不同阶段而变化。故卵巢端粒酶的活性是衡量卵泡功能的重要指标。端粒酶活性受雌激素和孕激素调控,并且均通过有丝分裂原激活蛋白激酶(MAPK)路径介导。

【Abstract】 Telomerase is the ribonuclear enzyme that synthesizes telomere. The age and life span of the cells are closely correlated to the presence of the telomerase activity and the length of the telomere. (Ovary) is an organ that executes cell proliferation and apoptosis periodically. The expression of telomerase has been detected in normal ovary, and its levels change accordingly with the developmental stage of the follicles. Ovarian telomerase activity is, therefore, an important marker of follicular function. The telomerase activity is regulated by both estrogen and progesterone and this regulation is mediated through the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway.
