【Abstract】 This review mainly introduce the chemical constituents and biological activities of rhizoma of Panax japonicus. It has been previously observed that rhizoma of Panax japonicus has the biological activities of protecting on the cardiovascular system and enhancing the immune system, and it’s antiviral, antitumor, anti-inflammatory, remitting pain, anti-fatigable, mitigative too.
