等离子体引发丙烯酰胺与2-甲基-丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵水溶液聚合
Polymerization of Acrylamide with(2-Methacryloyloxyethyl) Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride Initiated by Plasma in Aqueous Solution
【摘要】 研究了等离子体引发丙烯酰胺(AM)和2-甲基-丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DMC)水溶液聚合制备线性阳离子聚电解质的工艺方法。测定了不同反应压力下反应液的沸点,得到最佳的反应压力为133Pa;优化了引发聚合的条件:放电时间40s、放电功率60W、反应溶液pH=4.5、w(AM+DMC)=30%、m(AM)∶m(DMC)=1∶1、聚合时间24h、聚合温度40℃。在优化条件下,聚合物的最高特性粘数为966cm3/g。探索了等离子体引发AM-DMC水溶液聚合的机理:AM与水溶液中H+结合形成的HAM自由基起引发作用,进而与AM或DMC单体进行反应,生成线性聚合物。
【Abstract】 Copolymerization of acrylamide(AM)with(2methacryloyloxyethyl)trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC)initiated by plasma in aqueous solution was studied.Linear cationic polyelectrolyte polymer P(AM-DMC)was obtained.Boiling points of reaction solution under different pressures were determined.Factors effecting intrinsic viscosity of polymer were optimized as following:discharge time 40s,discharge power 60W and pH of aqueous solution 4.5.Under above conditions,intrinsic viscosity of the linear copolymer could reach 966cm~3/g.The polymerization mechanism was also studied,which showed that free radical HAM·formed by combination AM with H~+ was effective in initiation of copolymerization.
