【Abstract】 Over the past decades, voluntary forest certification has emerged as a tool for forest managers to demonstrate their adherence to good forestry practices and production of sustainable growing woods. To learn more about the impacts of certification, the authors conducted the study that all forest management organizations in North America which had been certified by FSC were surveyed to determine their views on the goals, benefits, costs, and overall impacts of certification. The results indicate that the cost of FSC certification and benefits show great uncertainty.更多还原
