【Abstract】 Through the traffic characteristic analysis on Nanjing main roads before reformation, the traffic design principles and reasonable traffic organization project are studied in the paper. The objective is to discuss the application of traffic design ideas and rules of modern cities for road reformation, to realize exploitation and utilization of supporting lands and to improve traffic efficiency.
