【Abstract】 Objective To determine the expression of nm23-H₁ gene in acute leukemia patients and to evaluate the relationship between nm23-H₁ expression and multi-drug resistance. Methods Expressions of nm23-H₁ mRNA, MDR1 and MRP were determined in bone marrow cells from 46 acute leukemia patients and 15 normal subjects by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction（RT-PCR）. Results nm23-H₁ was negative in 15 normal subjects, while it was positively expressed in 43 of 46 acute leukemia patients. The level of nm23-H₁ expression had no significant correlation with that of MDR1 or MRP（ r=0.39,0.21,P >0.05）. Conclusion The high nm23-H₁ gene expression is related to the occurrence of acute leukemia, but has no correlation with MDR1 or MRP.更多还原
