【Abstract】 In combination with the controversy about the functions and value of hydro projects occurring in academia at home and abroad from the summer, 2003 to the winter, 2004, a brief discussion, concerning the sustainable development of water power utilization, the significance of high dams and the wide water conservancy construction, was made based on some historic facts and basic concepts. Meanwhile, the benefits and some negative impacts of hydro projects were analyzed from the angles of environmental protection and ecological system.更多还原
