【Abstract】 Dewey’s theories of education and life were the core of his system of education. This paper analyzes it on the basis of comprehensive education as a whole, and came to the conclusion that "Education first show itself a kind of life"; "The aim of education is for life"; "Education has close connection with students’ daily life". So it shows that the basic value of education is to care for people’s life. At present the reform in education in order to returning life must take these theories as the most basic direction.更多还原
