【Abstract】 Several wireless technical forums,such as 3GPP2,have agreed upon SIP as the basis of the session management of the mobile Internet.It appears that SIP will certainly be an integral part of the mobile Internet’s protocol architecture.Means of terminal and personal mobility for all applications are provided.Mobile IP makes the mobility transparent to the higher layer,but there are a number of problems associated with Mobile IP,such as triangular routing,tunnelling management,etc.By moving the mobility handling to the application layer,SIP eliminate these problems.SIP-based mobility supports real-time communication in a more efficient way.更多还原
