基于支持向量机的手写体数字识别系统设计
System design of recognition of handwritten digits by support vector machine
【摘要】 数字识别是光学字符识别技术里发展比较早的一种技术,是OCR的一个分支。数字识别又分为手写数字识别和非手写数字识别,提到的手写数字识别是指脱机手写数字识别。支持向量机是近几年来模式识别领域中的一个新技术,它被广泛应用到文字识别、人脸识别等应用中,是模式识别领域中的研究热点,把支持向量机技术应用到手写数字识别系统中,以期提高识别系统的性能。
【Abstract】 Digits recognition is studied earlier than others in char recognition, it is a branch of OCR. Digits recognition is made up of handwritten digits recognition and non-handwritten digits recognition. The handwritten digits recognition that is studied is off-line hand- written digits recognition. Support vector machine is a new technic in pattern recognition inrecent years. SVM is used widely in different recognition and it is a hot topic in recognition. SVM is used in the system of handwritten digits recognition, whose goal is to improve the performance of the system .
