【Abstract】 The linux operating system is attractive because of its support of multitasking, multi-user and various networking services. However, these features demand that administrators and programmers pay more attention on the security problems to avoid data lose, data disclosure and system down time caused by security holes. The ISO security model is introduced, as well as how to use the authen- tication and access control services provided by linux system in programming.
