【Abstract】 A multicast model of application is described based on MPEG-4. To the key techniques in the application of multimedia multicast, including stream synchronization, packet-loss recovery and reducing the effect of delay variation, the solutions are given. With the help of layered buffer-routers, RTP packets’ local packet-loss recovery becomes possible. At the same time, the receiver can get the preferable quality of playing MPEG-4 files in the appointed range of time delay.更多还原
