【Abstract】 Objective To observe acupuncture treatment of apoplectic hemiplegia and its influence on oxygen free radical.Method and results Sixty-eight stroke patients were treated with yin-yang-harmonizing acupuncture for 2 months. Basic recovery occured in 30 cases, marked progress in 22 cases, progress in 11 cases and no change in 5 cases. In the patients after treatment, blood lipid peroxide (LPO) dropped significantly(P<0.01) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-P) rose significantly(P<0.01). Conclusion It is suggested that this treatment can improve the bodily ability for eliminating free radical and inhibit the response to free radical in stroke patients.更多还原
