【Abstract】 Editor’s Notes: "Shanghai-Style Culture" is a regional culture, with distinctive Shanghai features, including modernity, diversity and innovation. At present, Shanghai is devoted to the construction of the international metropolis, developing its "tendencies of the times, traits of China and features of Shanghai." All these cannot do without cultural details. The Research Center of Shanghai-Style Culture, Shanghai University, aims at an academic, systematic approach to "Shanghai-Style Culture" so as to demonstrate clearly its unique glamour’s, to serve for the construction of the city’s culture in Shanghai.
