【Abstract】 Proceeding from the concepts and definitions of the activities of components in metallurgical melts and their standard states, the discrepancies about applying the mass fraction and mass percent concentration to metallurgy were analyzed and discussed. It was pointed out that using the mass percent concentration or the mass fraction to indicate the contents of components in metallic solution is entirely not only a simple unit and numerical transformation, but also relating to the basic principles in physical chemistry of metallurgical processes, must be seriously considered and treated.更多还原
