【摘要】 本文利用符号学和认知科学的理论,通过对语言符号与现实事物关系的分析,尝试重新探讨所指-原文-译文这一符号关系,指出语言文本具有双重性质:它既是符号,又可以是其他符号(如译文)的所指,而翻译的实质,就是寻找这样一种文本,它既指称原文的所指,又指称原文(语言符号)本身。翻译就是在原文与译文之间建立符号指称链,好的翻译就是在两种符号文本之间尽可能建立象似关系,其次是指示关系,最后是信波关系。更多还原

【Abstract】 The author attempts, in terms of semiotics and cognitive science, a ne w interpretation of translation as a process in a semiosis network of symbols an d referents, and emphasizes the dual status of linguistic text both as a symbol to an entity and an entity to be referred to. Translation is to find a text as a symbol that refers both to the original text and to the text’s referent. A good translation is a text that has at best an iconic relationship with the original text, then, if not possible, an indexical relationship, or at least, a symbolic relationship.更多还原
