【Abstract】 A new kind of moulding sand adhesive used for casting industry was prepared from distillation test residue of cottonseed oil fatty acid. When the addtion of the adhesive is 3%, the tensile strength of the sand cores is over 23MPa, and the wet compression strength over is (0.016MPa). Comparing with synthetic-fat binder, its properties are superior, its price is cheap and it is suitabl for casting industry.更多还原
