【Abstract】 This paper applies Derrida’s deconstruction theory to deconstruct the “tree” image in Toni Morrison’s Beloved, analyzes the different interpretations of the four characters in the novel and demonstrates how Morrison understands and reconstructs history by relying on images to speak out the unspeakable past of the black.更多还原
