CMC型高分子表面活性剂在稀溶液中分子聚集形态

Molecular Conformation of Polymeric Surfactants Based on Carboxymethyl Cellulose in Dilute Aqueous Solutions

【摘要】 采用激光光散射、荧光光谱对羧甲基纤维素型高分子表面活性剂在稀溶液中的分子形态进行了研究,发现高分子表面活性剂的表面张力等温线出现多折点现象。在低于临界胶束浓度的稀溶液中,单个高分子表面活性剂分子趋向卷曲,疏水嵌段形成非极性微区,形成疏水嵌段为核亲水嵌段为壳的单分子胶束,其形态不规则,粒径在100nm以下,尺寸分布较宽。

【Abstract】 The molecular conformation of polymeric surfactants CMC-AR12EO9 in dilute aqueous solution was studied by dynamic laser scattering and fluorescence spectroscopy. The results show that surface tension isotherms of CMC-AR12EO9 has more than one turning point. In the very dilute solutions, CMC-AR12EO9 molecules disperse and tend to form mono-molecular micelles, which presumably consist of a core of the hydrophobic block surrounded by a corona of the hydrophilic block. The average size of mono-molecular micelles is less than 100nm, and they have polydisperse conformation and wide size distributions.
