【Abstract】 Motion vectors searching algorithm is one of the kernels in real time video sequence compression. In the numeric fast searching pattern, cross-diamond searching pattern takes advantage of center-biased characteristic of motion vectors in video more available, so it becomes the popular searching pattern. Based on the cross-diamond searching algorithm, the algorithm improves a gradient-based remainder cross-diamond search algorithm, by using gradient information. The algorithm reduces searching points greatly, on the condition of keeping the PSNR.更多还原
